Estate sales, yard sales, and antique shops were regular weekend destinations for my brother and me as kids. My parents, always on the hunt for period-appropriate decor for our Staten Island 19th-century house, made sure of it. Since then, I’ve had a love for home design and refuse to pay full price for anything – a combination that fuels my coverage of sales and deals for Apartment Therapy Media.

I’m always on the hunt for home and kitchen essentials that can transform your life, decor that can elevate your space, and furniture you want to nap on. And as an apartment dweller, my eye is constantly set on space-saving and decluttering solutions.

Previously, I’ve covered fashion and beauty for Elite Daily, Nylon, the Zoe Report, and E! Insider, parenting for Scary Mommy and Romper, and almost everything else for Bustle, Mic, and Inverse. Plus, satirical headlines for Reductress and stand-up coverage for Comedy Central.

I’ve also taught and performed improv comedy around the world and appeared on Broad City, late-night television, and more. When I’m not writing about sales and deals, I’m trying to keep up with my two sons, training for marathons, and improvising at the Magnet Theater in NYC (Saturdays at 7:30 pm, come on down).
