I love decorating, but I’m also a realist. Buying new furniture every six months is impractical and expensive. So, I love finding little accents to refresh spaces without the investment (and back pain!) that comes with moving furniture. You can imagine how excited I was when I learned Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Teen recently released a new collection with Hill House Home, the fashion brand known for its flattering silhouettes and classic designs for women and kids — and plenty of decorative accents are included!

My daughter’s tastes change just as quickly as her personality grows. I invested in sturdy furniture that transitioned easily from preschool through elementary age, and swapped accent pieces to reflect her personal style. I’m a big fan of Pottery Barn for those accents and their kids’ furnishings. (The Anywhere Chair has been a staple in my daughter’s life since it was gifted for her first birthday and I’ve been pleasantly surprised that it still fits her as she turns 8 this month!)

The new lines that dropped on March 19 feature the key Hill House Home style elements — ditsy floral prints, gathered trim, and flounces. For Pottery Barn Kids, the Hill House collab is designed around a soft blue and pink floral (with hints of green) envisioned for nursery through preschool age kids. It has a complete arrangement of furniture, bedding, accents and even wallpaper, with prices ranging from $29 to $1,899. The furniture pieces include some splurges but most of the collection is between $29 and $300. You’ll definitely want to check out the Preppy Printed Bunny ($39) and Duvet Bedding Set (from $314).

For big kids through college, the Pottery Barn Teen collection includes travel, workspace, and school gear — but plenty of the pieces work just as well for younger kids, too. It’s gorgeous yet functional with pieces like the Round Storage Ottoman ($249) to keep rooms tidy along with monogrammable picks like the Desk Mat (from $69). One of my favorites is this Andie Desk Chair ($449), with mid-century modern style paired with a classic floral pattern.
