Ah, nostalgia. I think we’re all feeling a bit nostalgic these days, longing for times when things seemed so easy and carefree. Sometimes, I’ll hear a song or come across a product that instantly takes me back to those days. My husband and I often reminisce about the ’90s and how life just seemed better then.

Hopefully, our kids will have the same sentimental longing for their own childhood. As parents and caregivers, we can foster memorable childhoods by providing our kids with unforgettable experiences. Sometimes, those experiences come right in our own homes in the form of toys and games that stand the test of time.

Of course, your kids will have plenty of toys they’ll feel nostalgic about someday, and if you play your cards right, some of those toys will be favorites from your childhood. That’s why we created a list of 20 retro toys that are sure to transfer you (and your kids) back in time.

My husband surprised me with this gift about a year ago, and it has been so fun to play the games ourselves and to introduce our daughter to video games of the past. Your kids will probably appreciate their own video games a lot more after seeing the graphics you grew up with. Plus, you get to join in on the fun too!
