The $8 Costco Grocery I Buy Once a Month and Use Every Single Night for Dinner
I’m known around here as the “Costco Queen” because of my undying love for the bulk warehouse. With a membership card in hand (paid for out of my own pocket), I stock up on household staples, fill up on gas, and splurge on seasonal finds.
My oversized cart looks a little different now that summer is in full swing — piled high with my kids’ favorite Costco snacks and dinnertime shortcuts. It’s probably no surprise that many of my “secret ingredients” that make the simple sides and summer dinners taste so delicious are all thanks to groceries I find at Costco. One item I make sure to never leave the warehouse without is the Don Pancho Cilantro-Lime Crema Everything Sauce.
It’s so good, I’ve added it to practically every dinner I’ve served this summer, and have no plans on stopping. Here’s why you should try this flavorful sauce, too.
What’s So Great About Don Pancho Cilantro Lime Crema?
Cilantro and I are not the best of friends, but luckily for me, the Don Pancho Cilantro Lime Crema is also a part of Costco’s street taco kit. After purchasing said kit, I cautiously added my now-beloved sauce to a taco and haven’t looked back. The sauce is made of sour cream, lime juice, and cilantro. The cilantro gives the sauce its fresh flavor and green color, while the lime adds a subtle citrus punch. The flavor is spot-on, but what keeps me buying bottle after bottle is the number of ways to use this sauce. You really can use it for everything.
What’s the Best Way to Use Don Pancho Cilantro Lime Crema?
If you’re buying the ready-made street tacos from Costco, there’s already a container of this crema in the package. On nights where you’re making grilled chicken tacos on your own, make sure to drizzle each serving with some of this sauce. It would be tasty on steak tacos and fish tacos, too.
This cilantro-lime crema adds all of the flavor needed to serve my go-to three-ingredient potato salad at this summer’s outdoor events. Alternately, dress a pasta salad with this bottled sauce with great success. You can also use this sauce as a salad dressing (try it on this taco salad), a marinade for grilled chicken breasts, or in place of sour cream on nachos. With so many ways to serve this sauce, you’ll be so glad it comes in a two-pack.
