Nicholas Dekker gets people to call him “Dr. Breakfast” because he has a Ph.D. and really loves breakfast. Nick is a food/travel writer based in Columbus, Ohio writing his award-winning blog Breakfast With Nick since 2007, where he documents his journeys in exploring breakfast, coffee, donuts, beer, the arts, family travel, and much more. Nick writes about food and travel topics for a number of publications and sites, including Columbus Monthly, Ohio Magazine, Experience Columbus, and TourismOhio. In non-COVID times he also leads breakfast- and brunch-themed culinary tours for Columbus Food Adventures. For his grown-up job he works on the marketing team of the Greater Columbus Arts Council.

We Finally Found a LEGO Storage Solution that Works
Ours is a LEGO-loving family. My wife and I both collected them as kids. I took fastidious care of my LEGO sets, and still have all of my models and their instructions, plus a small (very small!) list of pieces that have been lost over the years. As with many families, LEGOs make for easy gifts, especially with the advent of licensed sets like Star Wars and Marvel; they make regular appearances at Christmas and birthdays in our house.
