Why Isn’t Everyone Talking About These Trader Joe’s Crackers?
Friends, as we know, both the wonder and terror of the internet is that an opinion rarely stays personal. There are some situations, though, that really do call for collective support. Like these Trader Joe’s crackers, for example. I’d like to keep writing this post, but frankly, the crackers are too good and I keep taking breaks to eat a few more. I don’t know when I’ll finish this article. Probably when the bag is empty.
The crackers in question: Trader Joe’s Trail Mix Crackers. I bought them on a whim a couple months ago, thinking they’d make a good after-school snack for my kids. My girls were ho-hum about them, even though I couldn’t stop saying “Mmmm, these are so good. These are SO GOOD.” They’re savory, sweet, and snappy. The mix of mung beans, black and white sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, cashews, raisins, and a “cheese cracker blend” is spot-on and craveable. They pair excellently with pretty much any cheese, as I’ve discovered through extensive trial and error (my favorite is a spread of Boursin); they’re also just as good with peanut butter or completely, deliciously on their own.
Apparently, a Trader Joe’s buyer found these crackers at a food show in Germany, and brought them stateside where they now sell for about $2.49 a bag, or roughly $10 from my wallet every time I go to Trader Joe’s.
Parents need snacks, too. You heard it here.
