No parents were prouder than we were when our 4-year-old daughter announced that she wanted — nay, needed — a “Star Wars” print in her bedroom. Out with the bunnies, in with the Storm Troopers and feisty Princess-generals. We sourced a bunch of options, eventually landing on a cute Etsy printable, but when I saw that Society6, my very favorite source for art, was launching some kid-friendly Disney, Star Wars, and Pixar collections … well, I think it’s time for another intergalactic upgrade.

I started using Society6 back when I lived in my first apartment, and loved it for its huge range of prints, affordable prices, and the fact that I was supporting independent artists. Now that I know there are tons of drool-worthy options for kids rooms, I’m going to be shopping here every time we want a refresh. (Plus: they have more than just prints — pillows, shower curtains, mugs … basically everything to deck your home out in fun designs!)

Here are some of our favorites from Society6’s newly launched Star Wars, Disney, and Pixar Collections. (Bonus: most are on sale right now!)

Mickey and Minnie Mouse Collection

Here, everyone’s favorite (ok, second-favorite for the Minnie fans) and most iconic mouse is pictured as a man of leisure. This retro-inspired print is perfect for a reading nook or playroom, and even comes with a frame you can customize to match the look of your space. We love a celeb who encourages book literacy!

This cheerful Mickey print has a bit of a ‘90s surfer vibe in its color and pattern, making it an amazing fit for kids’ rooms. The duvet cover is made of easy-to-clean and breathable cotton, which works great through the seasons to keep little ones warm and comfortable. It’s machine washable, with a hideaway zipper for easy care.

Especially with babies and toddlers, floor pillows are the unexpected decor item they use most for climbing and snuggling and, let’s be honest, tossing at our heads. But with pillows this soft, we are fine with all of that. This star-printed Mickey design comes in a round or square shape and two sizes. The pillows are plush without being hard-as-rocks, and are lauded by reviewers for their quality and comfort.

Minnie is in her sassiest form in this ‘70s inspired retro print. The design is iconic with a new twist, and the rich colors add such a jolt of boldness to any space. Pair it with a fun retro turntable and you’ve got a whole look that’ll delight everyone in the household.

Especially when you’re little, cozy drinks just taste so much better in your very own mug. This colorful one has a slightly abstract design, making it stand out from other character mugs that don’t quite have the same panache. The large handles are made for easy gripping. Of course, it’s also microwavable and dishwasher-safe, because what kind of parent would I be if I recommended something that wasn’t both?! Bring on the hot chocolate and mini (Minnie?) marshmallows!

“Star Wars” Collection

Is there any more iconic droid than this beeping little cutie? We’re all enamored by his bravery, resourcefulness, and plain ol’ adorable personality. This version comes in a calming desert-inspired palette that harkens back to his early years on Tatooine. We like it paired with a neutral pine frame.

Chewie has it all: loyalty, sensitivity, and fierceness in one furry Wookiee package. Tapestries are in right now for their texture and ease of use (they hang straight on the wall, no frames needed!), and this one would be a fun statement in a playroom.

With the worst heat of summer dissipating, it’s time to take play outside. We’re leaning into some casual sandwiches at the park, and maybe even an idyllic cider donut feast before apple picking at the local orchard. This blanket is subtle and stylish, but the BB-8 adds a playful detail that will delight the littles. It folds up and includes a carrying harness, and the print is even UV coated to prevent fading in the sun.

Why does a child need an acrylic tray, you wonder? Well, hear me out. Acrylic trays are amazingly versatile and way more useful than you’d think. We bring ours out for family movie nights (it holds popcorn, drinks, and Reese’s pieces, our favorite), breakfast in bed, and even during the nightly cleanup, when we sweep allllll the odds and ends from around the house into the tray, so they can be easily returned to its proper place. It’s also a fun way to display snacks at a party.

Our favorite space explorer gets the rainbow treatment in this colorful, graphic print. The friendly design is great for all spaces, but particularly good for any kiddo who loves a little peek of adventure in their daily lives.

Who doesn’t love balloons floating on a bright pink background? This sweet pillow tells a story and looks fabulous when displayed on a bed or a playroom seating area. It comes with a faux down insert — great for comfort and coziness in the fall days ahead.

Sully and Mike play peek-a-boo in this modern-meets-retro poster that reminds us of old book covers or movie posters. These favorite characters’ iconic features are immediately apparent, and give a wall the perfect dose of color and monster-themed joy. Pick from eight frame finishes to match the decor in your space.

Paris — but make it Disney. We love this soft-toned mug with its Eiffel-tower and “Ratatouille” motif and pastel, hand-drawn vibes. Keep it handy for the kids’ warm apple cider on a chilly night — or, you know, reserve it for your own caffeinated treat in the morning.
