The other night, as I found myself crouching under my kitchen table to scoop cake crumbs into my hands (hooray for kids’ birthday parties!), I couldn’t help but think about the Sam’s Club Vacuum Racer Go-Kart Ride-On that I saw making the rounds on Jessica Lynn’s (@jessicalynn1026) TikTok the other day. At that moment, I’d never needed anything more.

@jessicalynn1026 A toy that entertains AND cleans?! Every mom’s dream 🧹💗 #SamsClubFind #MomHack #ToddlerMom #MomTok #ToyTok ♬ LOOK AT THIS – Astro Boyke

Yes, an indoor ride-on toy with an optional — and real — vacuum function is being sold at Sam’s Club right now. And it’s nothing like those cute push vacuums with popping balls inside that let your kids cosplay cleaning. This is a real vacuum, allowing them to actually do the dirty work and have a blast at the same time.

The toy in question: Bro Products Vacuum Racer 12-Volt Kids Go Kart Ride-On. It retails for a baby hair under $200 ($199.84 to be exact, though prices may vary if you purchase in-store). The vacuum racer is a speedy ride-on that can go as fast as 5 mph — and young racers can go both forward and in reverse. As for the vacuum part, a push of a button allows kids to choose between light and powerful cleaning. If a sibling or dog gets in their way, they can honk the horn.

Kids can also take the car outside to zip around — the vacuum head is easily detached. Oh, and did I mention it also features headlights and light-up wheels?

Though the toy doesn’t have any reviews on the Sam’s Club site yet, TikTok is impressed. Kristy Lee Walker (@kristyleighwalker) calls it “genius” in one video

And Jessica filmed her daughter testing the toy both inside on hardwood and carpet and outside on the sidewalk, calling it a “mom win” and “not too bad at cleaning.”

Even though the vacuum doesn’t pick up everything, Jessica shows all the clumps of dust and dog hair it managed to suction up in part two of her video. You can see how the seat of the toy lifts (Jessica says this part is fairly childproof, but you might want to test it yourself since the battery is stored in the same area) to reveal a removable container that collects dirt and crumbs, which is easy to dump out and clean.

While this racer probably won’t replace your real vacuum anytime soon, it’s not a bad way to touch-up your floors in between cleanings — all while keeping your kids entertained.

Not a Sam’s Club member? These similar products will also let your kids get in on the cleaning action:

Blaxtem 4-in-1 Kids Vacuum

This lightweight (1 lb) vacuum lets kids clean with a long handle or three different detachable heads. Plus, it lights up, too. While some reviewers say the battery dies quickly, most are impressed with how well it sucks up dirt and pet hair.

Jinshoushi 12V Cleaning Go Kart for Kids

Kids push this go-kart around with their feet to the tune of music. Place a wet or dry mop pad on the front, and it doubles as a floor cleaner, too.

Kidscleancar 12V Ride-On Car with Cleaning Fun

This motorized ride-on car also doubles as a mop. Even better, children can take it outside to cruise the open sidewalks once the house is spotless. With a weight limit of 160 pounds, older kids and some adults may be able to hop on, too.
