With all the Memorial Day sales happening this weekend, there’s no shortage of great deals, but if we had to pick one to shop, it’d be Pottery Barn’s Warehouse Sale, spanning all their brands, including Pottery Barn Kids. Select items are up to 50% off, an incredible deal for parents looking to refresh kids’ spaces for the summer. In talking with other editors, we realized that we all had a huge amount of PBK items in our homes. It’s not hard to see why — they are durable and last forever.

So here are our very favorite picks from the Pottery Barn Kids sale.

Mid-Century Step Stool

This Mid-Century Modern stool is so stylish, but also incredibly functional. Teach kids independence by letting them brush their own teeth or wash their hands. The legs are cushioned by pads that keep the stool secure, while the solid rubber wood construction makes it sturdy and safe.

Madeline Storage Desk & Hutch Set

Kids are waving goodbye to this strange school year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t set them up for back-to-school a little early. We love this hutch set for its classic lines and many storage options. The corkboard is a cool feature for pinning reminders and inspiration.

Half Moon Organic Muslin Baby Blanket

It’s baby shower season, and if you have lots of expectant parents in your life, it doesn’t hurt to grab one or two of these lovely baby blankets. The breathable cotton rests softly on newborn skin, while the subtle design and piping detail makes it a special piece. Just add a stuffie and you’re all set!

Gemini End Panel Convertible Crib

Our daughter had a convertible crib, which seamlessly transitioned her to a toddler bed when the climbing-out-in-the-middle-of-the-night sprees got too harrowing. This collaboration between PBK and West Elm is clean and modern, with all the important safety certifications you’d want for your little ones.

Wooden Art Easel

Unleash their inner artists with a two-sided easel (chalkboard on one side; dry erase board on the other), plus a spot for a big roll of kraft paper for maximum creating. The tray is wide enough to hold all of their favorite supplies, too. This makes for a great gift — that also happens to look perfect in your home.

Machine Washable Rainbows Rug

A machine-washable rug that also delivers bright rainbow style? We’re in. We’ve been eyeing these PBK rugs for awhile, and now, with the new sale price, there’s no excuse not to get it. The durable construction makes it great for a playroom or bedroom, while the soft feel also keeps feet comfortable during playtime.

Scandi Starburst Canvas Storage

The one designer tip we hear over and over again when it comes to kids’ spaces? Get some fun storage options for them to use. This style, appropriately called “Toy Dump,” encourages kids to clean up after themselves. The little cut-out handles make it easy for kids to carry toys back and forth, too.

World of Eric Carle™ Organic Pajama Set

To celebrate the wonderful Eric Carle, this PJ set features his signature rainbow illustrations. The soft cotton and ribbed cuffs are very comfy, while the colorful designs will spark their imaginations. Just cuddle up with a copy of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and help them drift off to dreamland.

Dragon Muslin Baby Hooded Towel

Let me paint you a picture of a freshly bathed baby face peeking out from this dragon hooded towel — are you awash in awws yet? The muslin fabric is gentle on skin, but these towels truly last forever. (You’ve gotta peek the miniature dragon wings too; what sweetness!)

Sloan Slim Bookrack

We may love toy storage, but when it comes to books, we like them on constant display. Book racks are a great way to add color and design to a room, while also making the space super functional for kids. I love that my daughter can grab her favorite bedtime tales herself! (Bonus: the design is modern enough to age with your kids, so the rack can hold notebooks and chapter books down the line!)

Bedford Swivel Glider

When I tell you we still have our rocker — that’s the power of a really great chair. We love this swivel version that comes in dozens of colors (we’re eyeing the pretty rose distressed velvet!). The matching ottoman is also on sale, if you like to kick your feet up while rocking.
