Remember the absolute thrill of getting an item with your name on it when you were a kid? Nothing says you’re thinking about someone you love like a personalized gift. And I’m not just talking about decorative faux license plates or souvenir shop magnets, but exciting, holiday present-worthy items.

Some of these products can arrive fast, but in general you should order a personalized holiday gift by early December to be safe. Also, personalized gifts for kids usually can’t be returned, so these are gifts you commit to. I think they’re worth it.

(Important note: Experts say it’s not safe to personalize backpacks, lunch boxes, or other publicly visible items, as doing so can be a way for strangers with bad intentions to pretend they know your child’s name. Read more here.)

My First Anywhere Chair, Taupe Cozy Cable Knit

Toddler-sized, cozy, and adorable, the My First Anywhere Chair can be personalized with up to nine characters, so either a name or a shorter nickname. PBK’s Anywhere Chairs come in a variety of colors, textures, and patterns, as well as two bigger sizes — Large and Oversized — if you’ve got an older kid.
