Recently, in the midst of that frantic, post-holiday organizing mania, I did a serious clean-out of the pantry and drawers in my kitchen. I found that most of the baby and toddler food products we owned were from OXO, the classic and indispensable brand of home goods; and I wasn’t the only parent whose cabinets were stocked with OXO products. Every time I went over to a friend’s house, I’d notice their babies sipping from the same cups we had, flinging peas from the same divided plates, and wearing the same silicone bibs at mealtime. With a kindergartener, we’ve now moved past many of the baby toddler products, but boy did they serve us well.

These are the very best items we relied on as baby/toddler parents — and, bonus, they’re ALL 20% off until January 22.

The genius of this bib is that it actually rolls up, making it infinitely packable for on-the-go dining. The front pocket catches food (which will fall while they are eating), while the velcro strap allows parents to quickly get kids situated. The bib actually grows with your kiddo, so it’s a nice item to stock up on (or give as a gift)!

Parents know that a booster seat is an essential piece to keep around for little wigglers. It’s great for babies who are just starting to sit at the family table, especially. The materials are easily wipeable, and the three-point harness is designed for safety. The seat comes in four colors. There’s even a handle for easy transportation.

When our daughter began eating solids, this plate was perfect for introducing her to a variety of flavors and textures all at once. The silicone is incredibly easy to clean (it’s even dishwasher safe). We loved how the weighted base kept us (relatively) safe from accidental messes at the dinner table.

After a few times of forgetting our Ziplock with our toddler’s silverware, we grabbed one of these on-the-go sets, which has a fork and spoon in a handy case. Of course, kids can use adult silverware, but when they’re tiny, it’s easier for them to maneuver their food with forks especially made for them. The rounded design also make this set ideal for little hands.

It’s hard work keeping a toddler hydrated! This transition cup came in handy, because it was so easy for her to hold, and the soft straw was simple for her to work. The spill-proof design was great for us while traveling (it even closes fully with a hinged design). One of my recurring annoyances with sippy cups is all the many parts you have to clean (a must to prevent mold and other germs). These OXO parts were surprisingly easy to take apart, though!

Speaking of cleaning: We still own this water bottle set (a new version), because it’s great for cleaning water bottles of all sizes. The two brushes are made to reach in hard-to-clean spots in both bottles and sippy cups and rest in a caddy that organizes everything in a likely crowded sink situation.

This product is not a necessity; I feel the need to say that very frankly. But it’s fun. You could obviously use a knife and cutting board, too, but why not try a fun little tool, if you have the space for it? It would work on cherry tomatoes, too, and other small fruits.

I’ve always found bath time to be one of the best parts of toddler life. They just get so much joy out of splashing and discovering their toys — and those bubbles, talk about adorable! One of the pain points, though? Wrangling the many toys and scrubbies in one place. This bin latches on the tile near the bathtub and features a handle that makes it easy to dump toys (and pick them up) in the bath. The holes help air out the toys post-play, helping to aid a bit against mold accumulation.
