The latest trending storage solution that might actually help your kids keep their rooms clean? Toy baskets shaped like dollhouses. Pretty ingenious, right?

When Tristen (@tristenwcrews) posted a TikTok video about an adorable woven basket she found at Marshalls that looks like a little house — outfitted with a front door and windows, plus a lid in the shape of a roof with a tiny chimney — I knew I had to find one of my own. “I already put it in her room because I was so excited!” she said in the video.

Tristen filled the basket with her daughter’s stuffed animals, but you could also fill it with dolls or dress-up outfits. Although the exact option Tristen found at Marshalls isn’t available online, I combed the internet for alternatives that suit a variety of styles and price points. These are my favorites.

Children's House Basket
$56

This decorative basket is made of 100% rattan. Cool feature: The door actually opens! The basket measures approximately 10x9x11 inches, and the cute handle on top gives it a picnic basket vibe that might make it a fun place to store the faux food that goes with a play kitchen.

Rattan House Shaped Basket
$14

Two windows in the front increase the charm factor on this small rattan house. It measures approximately 9x7x5 inches, so this petite storage basket is perfect to place on their dresser or desk to hold small items.

Pillowfort Kids' Book Storage
$22

This cheery woven house-shaped basket is made for book storage, but it can also safeguard markers, coloring books, and other lightweight goodies. It measures approximately 11x13x10 inches, and it also comes in a rainbow version if you’re looking for an alternative design.

Metal House Caddy
$59$27

For a twist on the trend, this steel navy caddy is ready for books, art and school supplies, games, and more. This option, which stands at 14x9x12 inches, is great for older kids who are edging toward more of a grown-up style. Plus, it will hold up better to rough play than some of the wicker options on this list.

$27 at Pottery Barn Kids
Wicker Sea Cottage
$178$133

This one’s a splurge, but it sure is cute. The rattan cottage has a front door that opens, two windows, and a tiny chimney, but the details — namely the braided edging on the roof — are what make it truly special. This house is a larger option in this category, as it measures approximately 18x12x13.5 inches.
