In our home, we have Bluey figurines and a talking Bluey stuffie, and we play Keepy Uppy and “featherwand” on a regular basis. Pass the Parcel was a huge hit at my daughter’s recent birthday party, too. It’s safe to say that when a kid falls in love with a show as so many have with Bluey, reenacting scenes and games from the show becomes a regular part of playtime. That’s why this Bluey playhouse is such a great toy for any kid who likes to spend their screen time with Bluey, Bingo, and family.
What’s So Great About the Bluey Ultimate Lights & Sounds Playhouse?
For starters, the toy is a pretty good replica of the Heeler family’s house. There’s something so magical about playing with a tiny replica of the characters and settings from your favorite show. There’s no better way to recreate scenes from the show than with this house.
The home comes with three poseable figurines: Bluey, Bingo, and Chattermax. The house opens to reveal the many rooms in the Heeler home where so many iconic episodes take place. Inside, kids will find Bluey and Bingo’s bedroom, the kitchen, the playroom, and more. The home also has interior and exterior features, so kids can walk the figurines through the doors.
The playhouse includes details that only true fans of the show will recognize (although I’ll be honest — I had to enlist my 5-year-old’s help as I wrote this article). Some fun and unique features include the kiwi rug in the playroom, the circular window in Bluey and Bingo’s loft, and the working cabinet under the kitchen sink where kids can hide Chattermax. There’s also an interactive dance floor for kids to play dance mode or to reenact the animation during the theme song that is forever ingrained into all of our brains.
True to the name, the home includes more than 50 lights and sounds, including music and sound bites from the show. The phrases from the show might help kids who are bored or stuck on play ideas to think of ways to play as the sounds jog kids’ memories of what happens in the show. This can be an excellent springboard for kids to engage in pretend play.
